Michigan State basketball returns for to the court for the first time this season in an exhibition matchup against Northern Michigan.
The Spartans travel to the Upper Peninsula to face head coach Tom Izzo’s alma mater on Sunday afternoon. This exhibition road game is a reunion trip for Izzo, where he’ll have his No. 10 Wildcats’ jersey retired.
Tip off between the Spartans and Wildcats is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday. The game will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
Michigan State will play one more exhibition game after today against Ferris State on October 29 at the Breslin Center. The official first game of the regular season will take place on November 4 against Monmouth.
