After nearly six weeks without competitive action, Thursday evening sees Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp begin the second half of their season with a trip to the Etihad to face Manchester City in the Lague Cup fourth round.
The Reds, who won the competition for a record-breaking ninth time back in February, will be spared no straightforward return as they lock horns with Pep Guardiola's side in what has, in recent years, become English football's box office rivalry.
After dispatching League One outfit Derby County in the third round, in their penultimate fixture before domestic football's hiatus, Liverpool know if they emerge from East Manchester victorious they will join Leicester City, Newcastle United, Southampton, Wolves, Nottingham Forest, Charlton and Manchester United in the quarter-final stages.
Here's how you can keep up to date with all of Thursday evening's events.
