Manchester City and Everton kick off the Boxing Day schedule in the Premier League.
Four months ago, this would have been ripe for a festive feast of goals as City looked to cement their place at the top of the table.
But, in reality, this is a City team who have just one win in eight in the league to drop to seventh in the standings, and welcome an Everton team who have just taken points off Arsenal and Chelsea.
It’s actually a rare Boxing Day outing for City, who usually play after the rest of their rivals, so they will need to get up and running far earlier than usual after Christmas with this 12.30pm kick-off.
