Manchester City continue their quest for a second Champions League title with a first-ever meeting against Bayer Leverkusen tonight.

Man City have picked up ten points from the opening four games of this season’s League Phase and victory over German opposition for the second matchday in a row will boost hopes of a top eight finish.

While Pep Guardiola’s side were beaten by Newcastle to suffer a setback in the Premier League title race at the weekend, they are on a formidable run at the the Etihad Stadium.

Including the impressive 4-1 win over Borussia Dortmund three weeks ago, City have won their last seven home games in a row across all competitions.

Leverkusen may fancy their chances of springing a surprise as they arrive in Manchester on the back of winning their last two away games, beating Benfica in their most recent Champions League outing.
