Every episode of soap opera Brookside will soon be available to stream - but how do you watch them? Episodes will be released weekly on STV Player, starting on February 1.
The soap, set in Liverpool, chronicled the lives of characters living in 13 houses on a cul-de-sac called Brookside Close. The first episode aired on Channel 4 in November 1982 and it became known for hard hitting storylines around subjects like rape, bullying and incest.
At its peak, the show had viewing figures of nine million before dwindling audiences saw it axed. The announcement means fans will be able to see iconic scenes for the first time since the show ended in 2003, the Liverpool Echo reports.
