England Women today face a big test as Emma Hayes and the USA visit Wembley in a huge international friendly.
England will meet the Olympic champions in what could be a measuring stick for Sarina Wiegman’s Lionesses side.
Wiegman is excited to embrace the challenge but is dealing with a relatively depleted squad for the game, having been unable to select regulars in the form of Lauren James, Niamh Charles, Lauren Hemp, Lucy Parker and Ella Toone.
