How to watch Chelsea vs Club America on TV: Live stream channel, schedule and kick-off time

With a new ownership group settling in, the departure of key senior players, and the rejumble of the Chelsea boardroom, it hasn't been a quiet summer at Cobham.

It is now time for Thomas Tuchel and his Blues squad to get down to work on the field though, as they start their preseason tour of America with a game against Club America in less than one week, hopefully with the addition of Raheem Sterling in the ranks.

Here, football.london takes a closer look at everything you need to know ahead of the match.

Where is it being played?

Chelsea will start things off, travelling straight from their Los Angeles training camp into Nevada, Las Vegas. Here, they will face the Mexican side Club America.

Located in Paradise - literally - on the southern side of Vegas, the 65,000 seater Allegiant Stadium will be the venue for the match, with Club America bringing star names Martin Caceres, Jonathan dos Santos and Guillermo Ochoa up against Tuchel's men.

The ground is home to National Football League (NFL) side Las Vegas Raiders.

Where can the match be watched?

The match will not be aired on TV in the United Kingdom, with fans able to watch this match, as well as all other pre-season matches, exclusively on the club's 5th Stand app, or on the club website.

The game kicks off at 7pm PDT on Saturday evening (US) or 3am BST on Sunday morning (UK).

Chelsea team news?

The Blues have taken a strong 29-man squad to America with them, but will be without midfield duo Ruben Loftus-Cheek and N'Golo Kante due to their vaccination status.

Elsewhere, there will be no Armando Broja for this game at least, with the Albian due to travel out next week, though speculation over his future continues to rumble on. Other returning loan players, Conor Gallagher, Billy Gilmour and Ethan Ampadu will all be involved in the squad though, as they seek to impress Tuchel and earn a first team spot.

As previously mentioned, unless a deal for Sterling is announced quickly, this match will probably come too soon for him, though the England winger could be with the team by this point.
