Bristol Bears are looking to put their European exit behind them with a late push in the Gallagher Premiership, starting at home this evening against Sale Sharks.
Bristol Bears' four game winning run in the league ended with their 24-46 defeat at Leicester in Round 21 but Bristol have won their last three Premiership fixtures at Ashton Gate since their 26-all draw there with Tigers on 3 December.
However second place Sale are going through a shaky period having won just one of their last four Gallagher Premiership matches: 35-24 at home to Saracens on 5 March.
And the Sharks have won only once away from home in the league since early October: beating Harlequins 24-18 at the Twickenham Stoop on 8 January.
However Sale have had the upper hand over Bristol in recent times with their only defeat in their last six encounters in the being on their most recent visit to Ashton Gate in January 2022, going down 15-32.
