BlizzCon 2026 is scheduled for mid-September 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, bringing Blizzard’s biggest announcements, panels, community events, and esports competitions into one packed weekend.
When is BlizzCon 2026?
BlizzCon 2026 takes place on Saturday, Sept. 12, and Sunday, Sept. 13. The convention is open from 9am to 7pm PT on both days.
The first major broadcast moment is the Opening Ceremony, which begins at 10:30am PT on Sept. 12. It will be held in Hall D for attendees. Viewers at home can tune in through Blizzard’s official livestreams.

Can you earn BlizzCon Twitch Drops?
Yes. Blizzard is offering viewership rewards across multiple games, including World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo IV, Hearthstone, StarCraft II, and Heroes of the Storm. To receive eligible Twitch or YouTube rewards:
- Link your Twitch or YouTube account to Battle.net
- Watch an eligible BlizzCon stream or game category
- Keep watching until the required time is met
- Rewards should be added automatically once the watch-time condition is met
For StarCraft II, you can earn a 10-day XP Boost by watching one hour of eligible StarCraft content on Twitch between Sept. 12 and 13. Heroes of the Storm viewers can earn a seven-day boost for watching one hour of the Classic Cup on the HOTS Twitch channel during the same period.
Blizzard has confirmed that musical performances will not be livestreamed and are reserved for fans attending BlizzCon in Anaheim. Online viewers can check the Opening Ceremony, game panels, developer presentations, and esports broadcasts, while attendees get the fuller experience.
