Australia can take a major step towards the Rugby World Cup quarter-finals as they take on Fiji this afternoon.
Eddie Jones’ side were under plenty of pressure heading into the tournament after a poor run, but they put that behind them to get up and running in Pool C with a comfortable opening victory over Georgia last weekend.
It is a defining week for the Wallabies, with what looks set to be a decisive clash against Wales to come in seven days’ time, and they will be keen to start it in positive fashion in Saint-Etienne today.
Fiji know they must win here to keep their hopes alive, after defeat to Wales in a pulsating encounter. They gave Warren Gatland’s side a huge scare and are well capable of causing the Wallabies significant problems.
