After the original fixture, scheduled for September 15, was postponed due to events surrounding the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Arsenal will welcome PSV Eindhoven to the Emirates Stadium this evening.
Having won all three of their opening matches in Group A, Arsenal can secure a place in the knockout stages of the Europa League if they manage to beat the Eredivisie side. However, Ruud van Nistelrooy brings with him a very strong team full of exciting talent including the in-form Cody Gakpo, who already has 13 goals and 11 assists to his name this season.
It will no doubt be the Gunners’ toughest challenge in the competition yet, but Mikel Arteta will be hoping that his players can get the job done in convincing fashion following a nerve-racking win against Leeds United on Sunday.

Arsenal team news
Gabriel Martinelli and Oleksandr Zinchenko were both absent from yesterday’s training session, but Arteta insisted they were not ruled out at the time of his press conference.
“No, they are not ruled out, but we will see tomorrow what we decide,” he said. Meanwhile, Emile Smith Rowe and Mohamed Elneny remain on the sidelines as they continue to recover from long-term injuries.
There doesn’t appear to be any other concerns within the squad, meaning Arteta can name a fairly strong side if he wishes to.
