How to use the Barbie AI generator to make your own film poster meme

Stunning posters have been released for the upcoming Barbie film - and you can make your own version.

Barbie, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, will be shown in cinemas this summer. The Greta Gerwig piece follows Barbie, played by Robbie, attempting to find happiness after being expelled from Barbieland.

Its promotional campaign stepped up this week, with posters showcasing every character in the film released on Twitter. The striking images announced a slew of new star names for the film, such as Dua Lipa playing a blue-haired mermaid.

You can also join in the fun, making your own meme version of the viral posters using the AI-powered Barbie Selfie Generator. To get started, head to the website here.

Then, you can upload a photo of you or anyone you want from your camera roll, or take a photo. AI is then used to crop the image and place it in your own Barbie-themed poster. After that, you can reposition the image and change the colour and text on it.

Vast amounts of social media users have already used the feature, with the original announcement garnering over 653,000 likes on Instagram and 122,000 on Twitter.

Barbie is due to be released on July 21 in the UK. It is the first ever live-action Barbie film.
