Purchase the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack
Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet are DLC-exclusive characters, so the only way you can find and meet these three is by purchasing and installing the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack. Start with this key step, as you must set off to explore this world to meet them.
This pack costs $16.99 and comes with both the Honeyglow Woods DLC and 2,000 Moonstones. You can also buy it bundled with the base game and 10,000 Moonstones for $49.99.
Grow the Honeyglow Woods tree portal
Once you’ve got this Adventure Pack installed, the next step is to grow the Honeyglow Woods tree portal. Head to a mailbox by any of your homes around the valley or DLC worlds to open a special letter titled “A VERY IMPORTANT PARCEL!!!” Attached to this mail is a special Tree Sprout.
Instead of planting the Tree Sprout, you can place it down as a furniture item to watch a cutscene unfold. The tree will automatically grow, letting you access a large, magical new tree portal. Enter it to begin your journey within Honeyglow Woods.
Upon arriving in Honeyglow Woods, you’ll step into Drowsybloom Acres, where you’ll eventually meet Winnie the Pooh. As you complete the DLC’s main storyline, you’ll help restore Honeyglow Woods to its former sunny glory alongside Pooh, eventually leading to you inviting him to join your Valley village. Following some additional quests, Eeyore and Piglet will tag along, too.
Unlocking Winnie the Pooh
The first character you’ll unlock is Winnie the Pooh. You’ll need to finish the following quests to invite him to your village:
- Prologue: Childhood Treasures
- Chapter 1: All You Need is Honey
- Chapter 2: About Thought, Fog, and Light
- Chapter 3: A Very Satisfied Bear
During these four missions, you’ll enter Honeyglow Woods, learn about Beekeeping, and clear away some of the fog clouding Drowsybloom Acre. The very end of Chapter three will reward you with Winnie the Pooh joining your village.
Unlike most other characters, you won’t return to Dreamlight Valley or build his house. Instead, you’ll repair Pooh’s house throughout these four missions and welcome him to the village shortly after. From here, you’ll unlock his friendship quests alongside additional story missions. Finishing these story quests will bring you closer to unlocking Eeyore and Piglet.
Unlocking Eeyore
The next character you can invite to your village is Eeyore. You’ll need to finish the following quests to invite him to your village:
- Interlude: The Misplaced Honey
- Chapter 4: A Tail Tale
- Chapter 5: The Big Red Monster
- Chapter 6: A Place for Eeyore
During these four missions, you’ll enter the Everoak Tree and help Pooh restore Drowsybloom Acre before unlocking Gloommeadow. Within Gloommeadow, you’ll meet Eeyore and help him feel happier by finding his tail, “defeating” a red monster, and repairing his house.
Like with Winnie the Pooh, you won’t build and buy a house for Eeyore in your Dreamlight Valley village like you would with other villagers. Instead, you’ll progress through Honeyglow Woods’ storyline enough to rebuild and decorate his house before welcoming him to the village shortly after. Afterwards, you’ll unlock his friendship quests and another Interlude mission. Progressing through this interlude will lead to you finding Piglet.
Unlocking Piglet
The last character you’ll meet during Honeyglow Woods’ story is Piglet. You’ll need to complete the following quests to invite him to your village:
- Interlude 2: The Gloomy Hollow
- Chapter 7: A Voice Behind the Door
- Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest
- Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again)
Throughout these quests, you’ll unlock Braveheart Grove and help Eeyore find Piglet. You quickly learn that Piglet is scared of the lack of sounds within the Woods, prompting you to explore the area, craft furniture that mimics nature sounds, and reassure him that everything is okay.
Unlike the previous two characters, you won’t need to repair Piglet’s house this time. Instead, upon finishing Chapter 9, you’ll automatically invite him to your village and unlock his friendship quests, alongside another Interlude mission that leads into additional chapters. Although the main storyline doesn’t end with Piglet joining your village, it marks the end of your hunt for new villagers within this Adventure Pack.
