How To Unlock Rick In Kirby Air Riders
Method 1: Unlocking Rick By Completing The “Top Ride: Mountain” Mission
Just like Marx, there are two methods to unlock this cute little hamster. But if you want to gain access to him fast, completing the Top Ride: Mountain challenge is the way to go. Here, you not only have to win but also have a 5-second difference from the second-place. It may sound challenging, but by following these steps, you can make the unlocking process pretty forgiving.
- On the main menu, go to Top Ride and then Race.
- Choose Mountain, your control method, and Kirby.
- In the vehicle section, select Wagon Star, and hit Ready.
Before starting the top-view race, we need to lower the CPU difficulty. Once you hit ready, press X on the grid lineup screen to access CPU Group Settings. Here, consider the following settings:
- Number: 3
- CPU Lv: 1
- Riders: Random
- Machines: Random
- Handicap: None
After making these changes, you are good to compete. Thanks to Wagon Star and easy CPU difficulty, winning this race would be a piece of cake. Just try not to make too many mistakes, and the second place will be far off, in fact, beyond 5 seconds. That’s it, you have unlocked Rick! Once you cross the finish line, you’ll get the “GOT IT! Method 2: Unlocking Rick By Completing The “Road Trip” Mission
Completing either of the two methods can unlock Rick. But if you also nail the second, you can gain access to his alternate Brown skin. The next technique is a Road Trip challenge where players are required to visit the Waddle Dee’s Shop three times.
Since every session in this mode is time-consuming, visiting the shop thrice will take a while. Simply dive into three separate Road Trips and don’t forget to visit the Waddle Dee’s every time. On the third attempt, normal or Brown Rick will be available after the session ends.
