There are a number of hidden chambers throughout Hogwarts castle in Hogwarts Legacy, and none are quite as confusing as Herodiana’s puzzle chamber. You’ll stumble across this as part of the Halls of Herodiana quest, and the only clue you’re given is to focus on your Depulso spell. This can be a little misleading adding more confusion.
If you’re stuck in the Halls of Herodiana, we have all the solutions for you here.
Hogwarts Legacy: Halls of Herodiana – First puzzle
The first thing you need to figure out for the Halls of Herodiana is how to get into the room. This quest leads you to the Defense Against the Dark Arts Tower. Once you are here, you will see a notch on the wall. Cast Depulso on it to get into the chamber.
You will then see the first puzzle. This room has two big blocks in the middle of it with no obvious way to get out. You need to cast Depulso on them to push them against the wall behind, so you can use them to climb up.
Hogwarts Legacy: Halls of Herodiana – Second puzzle
In the next room, you’ll see more blocks. For this one, you’ll see a lone block over to the left. Use Accio to pull it over to the right where it will join with the other two blocks to form a staircase. Now you can use Accio on the whole staircase to pull it over to the opposite wall. Then you can pull it to the exit wall using Accio again.
Once the staircase is in place you can use it to jump over the wall and reach the next room.
Hogwarts Legacy: Halls of Herodiana – Third puzzle
This is the last and most difficult puzzle of the Halls of Herodiana. You start by using Accio on the two blocks to pull them up to the right-hand wall. You can then use Depulso to push both blocks against the block that’s sticking out of the wall.
You can then use Accio to pull them over to the opposite wall. Doing so will allow you to climb over to the solid bricks that are on the left-hand wall.
From here you can see a statue with a glowing cub in the center. If you shoot it with your basic cast it will reset the position of the blocks. You should do this now.
When the blocks are back in their original position, you can use Accio to pull the blocks out towards the exit wall.
Using Accio one more time to pull the blocks towards you will put them in a position where you are able to jump over to them and climb up to the exit.
The reward for this quest is the Herodiana outfit which will be added to your collection of cosmetic items for your gear.
