Like most Star Path quests, this one is intentionally a bit vague to challenge you. There are many potential crops you might think match this description, but only one that actually works for the task, so here's how to plant a corny golden crop in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What is a corny golden crop in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The corny golden crop mentioned in one of the Elements of Nature Star Path routine duties is Corn. Specifically, this quest refers to Corn Seeds, as it asks you to plant this crop to progress. If you're working through duties in this event quickly, you might focus more on the golden crop portion of this task, which might lead you to seek out other ingredients like Wheat, Rice, Canola, or Elysian Grains, Oats, or Barley. The only item that counts for the purposes of this quest is Corn, though.
Where to find Corn Seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Corn Seeds are available for 15 Star Coins at Goofy's stall in the Dazzle Beach biome. If you have the A Rift in Time DLC, you can also find them at his shop in the Glittering Dunes region. When clearing away Night Thorns around the beach, there's also a chance Corn Seeds may drop as a reward.
Plant a corny golden crop in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To finish the plant a corny golden crop task, you need to plant a total of 20 Corn Seeds. For Star Path duties, you're usually asked to harvest crops, but this one simply calls for planting, which means you don't have to spend time actually growing Corn unless you desire to do so. If you want to see the full process all the way through, though, here's how to properly grow corn in your valley.
- Visit the Dazzle Beach biome or the Glittering Dunes biome. You need to travel to one of these two spots to buy Corn Seeds for this quest.
- Interact with Goofy's stall and buy Corn Seeds. Walk over to Goofy's stall in either biome and chat with him to buy 20 Corn Seeds. Since each bag costs 15 Star Coins, you need at least 300 Star Coins to buy the required amount.
- Use your Royal Shovel to dig 20 holes. It's best to set up your Corn garden in the Dazzle Beach biome or the Glittering Dunes region, since it'll grow a bit faster in either area.
- Wait for the seeds to grow. Corn takes 12 minutes to grow, or about 10 minutes and 50 seconds if planted in one of the two native biomes. You only need to water it once, right after you initially plant it.
- Harvest the Corn Seeds. Bring along a gardening villager and two gardening Companions to ensure you harvest the most Corn possible.
For planting 20 Corn Seeds, you get to claim 25 Tokens to spend in the seasonal Star Path event. It's not a bad prize for your efforts, but you'll likely need to check off some additional duties to claim the prize you have your eye on. Some good ones to work on next are cooking a fairly fancy dessert, practicing mine-fulness, crafting a potion you can really “dig,” and feeding the Ravens their favorite food.
