If you have been exploring Tidefall, you would have definitely stumbled across the large Tidefall Castle on the western side of the map. Though players can fish outside the Tidefall Castle, the inner door remains sealed and can only be opened if you solve the puzzles revolving around the Obelisk present all around the Tidefall. So, if you are unsure how to go about the puzzle and want to fish inside the Tidefall Castle, here is a detailed guide about it.
How to access the Tidefall Castle in Fisch - All Obelisk Offering
As mentioned earlier, to access the interior of Tidefall Castle, players must solve the Obelisk Puzzle. Basically, there are five Obelisks, each representing a region of Tidefall. All you have to do is catch the best fish (Exotic) from these regions and offer it to the correct Obelisk.
Orange Runic Obelisk
This one is at 3273, -1106, 864, and requires the Pilosaur, which can be fished from the Collapsed Ruins under the following conditions.

- Time: Night
- Season: Winter
Sky Blue Runic Obelisk
This Sky Blue Runic Obelisk is right at the lane entrance that leads into the Coral Bastion at 2872.4, -1067.8, 981.3. Since it's next to the Coral Bastion POI, it requires the Reef Titan Exotic, which is part of its Bestiary. Unlike other Exotics, this does not have a preferred Bait or Weather Requirement. Just fish for the Titan when the Hunt begins to get it.
Purple Runic Obelisk
The Purple Runic Obelisk requires the Omnithal Exotic Fish part of the Sunken Reliquary Bestiary. The Ideal conditions for catching the fish are listed below.
- Bait: Luminous Larva
- Weather: Foggy
- Time: Night
- Season: Winter
Once you have caught it, you can go 2876.9, -1091.7, 744.6, and make your offering to satisfy this Obelisk.
Gold Runic Obelisk
The Gold Runic Obelisk (3305.7, -1118.4, 1801.9) is on the left side of the entrance path that leads into the Crowned Ruins. This particular Obelsik requires the Goldwraith Exotic as an offering, which is fishable in the Crowned Ruins pool and prefers the following conditions.
- Bait: Sapphire Krill
- Time: Night
White Runic Obelisk
The final White Runic Obelisk is at 3089.8, -1099.6, 987.9, next to the waterfall that is the entry gateway to Tidefall. For this one, you require the Sparkling Dripstone, which is a Trash rarity from the Tidefall Region. You can use something like the Training Rod to get the Dripstone and then take it to an Appraiser until you get the Sparkling attribute.
Once all five Obelisks have received their offerings, you will receive a notification that reads "You Hear the Sound of Something Opening." Head to the Tidefall Castle to see the inner door open, where you can fish for the Plesiosaur and Forbidden Plesiosaur during the Plesiosaur Hunt. The ideal conditions to catch a Plesiosaur are listed below.
