A romance novelist who once published an essay entitled “How to Murder Your Husband” has been convicted of fatally shooting her own husband four years ago.

Nancy Crampton Brophy, 71, was found guilty by a jury in Portland, Oregon, of the second degree murder of 63-year-old chef Daniel Brophy on June 2, 2018.
