Some countries in Europe are allowing non-vaccinated Brits in if they can show proof of being recovered from Covid-19 in the last 180 days, making getaways easier for many.
But travellers are warned that each European country can decide on their own rules, so do check before booking flights.

While the Covid vaccine certificate scheme has lifted in the UK, the NHS Scotland Covid Status app still acts as proof abroad and European countries accept the QR code on Covid pass.
This can show your proof of vaccinated and since December 9, it has included proof of recovery from Covid-19.
NHS Inform has also given an update regarding a glitch as some people reported their vaccines weren't being displayed.
NHS Inform say: "There’s currently an issue with the app where some users’ covid status is not shown. The app says ‘Your COVID Status will be displayed here’. To fix this issue, please uninstall and reinstall the app. You’ll have to log in again using the email address and password you used to sign up. You will not need to verify your identity with a selfie again."
If you do not have the app, or want to download it or have a smartphone, you can request a paper and PDF version here with your username that was issued to you when you got your vaccine appointment letter.
If you don't know your username you can call National Vaccination Helpline at 0800 030 8013.
These copies also have the QR code that can be scanned.
Keep in mind that if you are travelling abroad, most countries require the paper or PDF copy to have been printed or requested after November 1 2021.
If you have recently had Covid-19, you can also receive proof of recovery from your doctor.
