How to get two McDonald’s breakfast and lunch for less than £2 today

Hungry? McDonald’s are offering cheap McMuffins all morning until 11am - but only for customers who order via their app. This Monday (May 9), fast food lovers can kickstart their week with a single McMuffin for less than £1, making the commute to work that little bit more exciting.

Customers can start their day with a sausage and egg, bacon and egg or egg and cheese McMuffin, all lightly seasoned with herbs and sandwiched in a hot, toasted English muffin.

The deal is limited to one per person, and is available via the offers section of the McDonald’s app from 5am to 10.59am.

And if that wasn’t enough, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese is on offer for just 99p from 11am, saving customers a huge £2.60 on their meal. Customers can pick up the tasty burger for less, for the perfect afternoon treat.

The burger features a quarter-pound patty of 100 per cent beef, with two slices of cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and a dollop of tomato ketchup in a sesame seed bun.

Customers will be able to bag the cheap burger from one minute past midnight on May 9, until the breakfast menu starts at 4.59am, then again from 11am to 11.59pm, limited to one per person.

It means foodies will be able to get not one, but two meals for less than £2 - unless some of the new menu items happen to take their fancy.

The McSpicy burger is back on the menu featuring a fiery chicken breast fillet, lettuce and cool mayo for £4.29, or £5.79 as a meal, with The Grand Big Mac also making a welcome return, plus their cheesy garlic bites.

For dessert, the new Flake raspberry and Flake chocolate McFlurrys are available from 99p, and will remain on the menu until June 7.
