The majority of gadgets and gear in Battlefield 6 are locked behind challenges. Deploy Beacon is a useful gadget for the Assault class, but to unlock it, you need to get 30 kills while using the Adrenaline Injector, which isn’t as easy as it sounds.
Here’s how to get kills while using Adrenaline Injector to complete the Assault challenge in Battlefield 6 and unlock the Deploy Beacon.
How to get Adrenaline Injector kills in Battlefield 6

Adrenaline Injector is Assault’s class ability. Using it boosts sprint speed while reducing explosive and incendiary damage. It also provides brief resistance to and clears flash and stun effects.
After using the Adrenaline Injector, you have around two seconds to secure a kill, despite the adrenaline effect lasting longer. The window is very tight, so the challenge might seem inconsistent in tracking kills. Getting a kill while using the Adrenaline Injector awards the Berserker medal in the bottom left of the crosshair. If you see the medal, the kill is secured.

The most reliable way to complete the challenge is using the M87A1 shotgun with slugs in small game modes, like King of the Hill and Domination. There are no vehicles in these modes, clear objectives to funnel players, and instant respawns. The M87A1 shotgun can one-shot up close, making it slightly easier to get the medal.
It doesn’t seem that you can get Adrenaline Injector kills on bots in Portal servers, as you don’t get the Berserker medal. This is unsurprising, considering EA is against cheesing your way to completing a challenge or farming XP, so you must stick with regular multiplayer.
Here’s a rough playstyle to get Berserker kills:
- Spawn and look at the minimap/objectives and where the enemy players are coming from.
- Once you’re just around the corner from the enemy (use minimap or audio to locate them), use the Adrenaline Injector.
- Rush the enemy and secure the kill.
- Die and respawn for a fresh Adrenaline Injector.
This is a grindy but sure way to complete the challenge. You can also try to animation-cancel the Adrenaline Injector by swapping weapons. Equip your primary or secondary weapon, use the Adrenaline Injector, and swap to the shotgun once your screen goes bright or you see the icon at the bottom of the screen. It’s not necessary, but it can help you squeeze a few fractions of a second to secure the kill.
