One major UK supermarket has announced it's slashing the price of its vegetables. The offer comes ahead of the long bank holiday weekend making Easter cheaper for customers.
Iceland announced at the beginning of the week it would be helping shoppers feeling the pinch by selling all of its veg for 1p online until Thursday. The supermarket said all fresh vegetables included in the offer will have 'best before' dates that fall after Easter Sunday to ensure they remain fresh.
To get the offer, all those that shop online need to do is add their chosen pack of Easter vegetables to their basket and enter the code 'ICE1VEG' when they checkout. They will then to receive their discount, reports Manchester Evening News.
