How to get free pizza slices from Greggs right now

High street giant Greggs is giving away free pizza slices alongside a free regular hot drink to customers starting this week.

Greggs aficionados will be able to make use of the deal between Monday, September 18, and Monday, October 16.

All they have to do is download the Greggs app, register an account, and order their freebies from a branch that suits them via the app.

The app is available to download for both IOS and Android users and it is completely free to sign up to.

Customers will be spoiled for choice, too. They will get to pick between a slice of Margherita, Pepperoni, Spicy Mexican Chicken, and Pepperoni Hot Shot. Those who are using Click + Collect and Just Eat will also be offered Spicy Veg.

And that’s not all: customers will also earn rewards on everything they order through the app.

To do so, they will have to get their app scanned each time they shop to collect stamps. Once they have collected nine stamps, the 10th item they buy will be free.

Those with the app will also be notified of any exclusive offers or giveaways Greggs is offering. Plus, on customers’ birthdays, they will be eligible to get a free sweet treat to celebrate the occasion.

The deal will be unavailable after October 16, meaning anyone who downloads the Greggs app won’t receive the reward.

Greggs lovers were elated by the news, with one Instagram user sharing: “All signed up looking forward to the treat! Thank you”.

And dating app Tinder’s official account on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, reacted to the news, saying: “we love a cheap date”.

Meanwhile, existing Greggs app users have been wondering if the bakery giant will reward their loyalty, too. One tweeted: “Gutted I’m not getting a free hot drink since I’m already signed up. On a more positive note the breakfast rolls are good from you guys :)”

Another shared: “No me sadly. New customers only.”
