A brand new petrol deal has launched to help motorists deal with high fuel prices amid the cost of living crisis. Petrol and diesel costs have soared in the UK over the past couple of months.
According to the RAC, the average unleaded price is 178.93p (as of August 8, 2022), and the average price of diesel is 189.30p. Earlier this week the motoring company said the UK has given some of the least generous support to help drivers with high fuel costs among countries in Europe that have taken action.
The cost of filling the average family vehicle has topped £105, which is piling on the pressure of the already tight purse strings of many families amid the wider cost of living crisis.
