How to get free £6,000 grant to upgrade your boiler as new scheme opens today

Homeowners can now apply for a one-off grant worth up to £6,000 to replace their gas boiler through a new scheme.

The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is open from today (May 23) as part of wider goals to encourage Brits to switch to heat pumps.

Under current plans, the Government wants to ban gas boilers in all new build properties from 2025.
