How to get Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld

Palworld Cryogenic Coolant - Production Line.

Acquiring Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld lets you craft a bunch of different items, from a saddle for Jormuntide, to more advanced coolers, to the refined cold resistant metal armour. Chances are at some stage you'll need to use this material, so here's how to get it.

As with some other materials, players are reporting that the Cryogenic Coolant technology is missing for them, but it looks like this is primarily down to having mods installed when updating to 1.0, so make sure to get rid of them first.

How to get Cryogenic Coolant in Palworld

To craft Cryogenic Coolant, you'll first need to unlock a few upgrades in the Technology menu as you level up, namely:

  1. Reach Level 26 and unlock the Power Generator (second from the left)
  2. Reach Level 29 and unlock the Production Assembly Line (fourth from the left)
  3. Reach Level 31 and unlock it in the Technology menu (third from the left)

This is because you'll need to build a Production Assembly Line in order to craft Cryogenic Coolant, and a Power Generator to make it run. All in, both will cost you:

  • 150x ingots
  • 5x wooden boards
  • 20x nails
  • 10x cement
  • 20x Electric Organs

You'll undoubtedly have both nails and wooden boards unlocked (at Level 10 and Level 15 respectively), but you might not have cement, which is available at Level 19 in the Technology menu. Remember, you can get Electric Organs by capturing, killing, butchering, or breeding electric pals.

Once you've built all the prerequisites, Cryogenic Coolant will cost:

  • 1x Aquatic Pal Fluids
  • 1x Ice Organ

Aquatic Pal Fluids come from capturing, killing, butchering, or breeding water pals, and the same goes for Ice Organs with ice pals. With all that, you've got what you need to craft Cryogenic Coolant.
