Disney Dreamlight Valley loves its Easter-themed spring events, and you can always count on the Eggstravaganza event to deliver on the rewards and furniture. You do need to put in a bit of legwork to actually earn them, though, and that's where finding Purple Spring Eggs comes in.
The valley is hiding quite a few different types of Eggs, and since the collection process is unique for each one, it can be rather difficult to collect them all. If you're having trouble finding these ones, here's how to get and use Purple Spring Eggs in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Purple Spring Egg locations

Purple Spring Eggs can be found around four Realms as long as DDV's Eggstravaganza event is active. Once the event is over, you'll no longer be able to collect them, so time is of the essence for gathering them. They don't spawn in all of the Realms you can visit, only a select group of them, which are:
- The Moana Realm
- The Toy Story Realm
- The Wall-E Realm
- The Mulan Realm
In past versions of the event, these Eggs could also spawn in the Beauty and the Beast Realm and The Lion King Realm. For 2026, though, these two locations were removed, making Purple Spring Eggs a lot easier to track down. Although the official event blog for this year doesn't list the Mulan Realm as a potential spawn spot, I've still had them spawning here, so be sure to check this area, too.
To make things a little trickier, only a maximum of 10 Purple Spring Eggs will spawn across these five regions, which means that you may have to go Realm-hopping a little bit if you're trying to farm them. Once you've collected them, they'll be added to your inventory, and they can be used for crafting or just general display.

From my experience, the best Realms for farming the Eggs have been the Moana Realm and the Toy Story Realm, as they are much smaller and easier to cover than the rest (meaning the Mulan Realm, for example, is not time-efficient at all).
You don't have control over where they choose to spawn, though, so you might get unlucky and have them spawn in the larger Realms instead. It's still best to start by checking the smallest ones just in case luck is on your side and they all happen to pop up there.
Regardless of whether they are, you'll have a much easier time finding them if you equip some Companions to help you. You'll want critters like Abigail and Amelia the Geese, or Moana's helpful friend Pua, by your side for this hunt, as they can spot the Eggs from far away and will run to grab them for you.
Purple Spring Eggs respawn time in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Purple Spring Eggs respawn every five minutes. This means that after you collect one, it'll respawn in a random location across the five Realms in another five minutes. There can only be a maximum of 10 Purple Spring Eggs in-game at any point in time. If you haven't gathered them in a while, it's a good idea to actively seek out all 10 so you can get that respawn timer going, allowing you to farm this resource with ease.

When does the Eggstravaganza event end in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The 2026 installment of the Eggstravaganza event in DDV runs from April 1 to April 22. This means you have three weeks to gather all the materials you need to craft the furniture items and grab all the relevant rewards.
The good news is that the event quests aren't hard to complete, and farming the Eggs isn't too time-consuming once you know which Realms they spawn in. Even if you don't get everything you need from the event, rest assured that it'll run again next year, giving you another shot to grab the things you missed.
