Fortnite's latest Star Wars crossover lets players learn from some of the greatest Jedi and Sith, who will teach you the ways of the Force, while offering you an elegant weapon for a more civilized age.
Fortnite Update 24.30 brought with it the Star Wars-themed Find the Force Quests which challenge players to complete a series of Star Wars-inspired missions while unlocking some extra goodies, including a Darth Maul skin. Many of these missions revolve around the event's brand new gameplay mechanic – Force powers – which you have to find Jedi and Sith in Fortnite in order to to learn.
One particular mission requires you to learn Force abilities in three matches – which we'll help you with here – while others require you to find Fortnite Republic Chests.
Currently there are only three masters to learn from, each with their own Force ability to teach: Obi Wan Kenobi with his Force Push ability to let you launch your enemies away for a tactical advantage; Anakin Skywalker with his Force Pull which let's you pull enemies into your range to go to town on them with your lightsaber; and finally the Sith lord Darth Maul, who teaches you Force Throw, which lets you throw objects at enemies.
Leaks suggest more masters and Force powers will be on the way as the event goes on, so we'll keep you updated. In the meantime, here's how to find Jedi and Sith in Fortnite and learn Force abilities at Rift Gates.
Where to find Jedi and Sith in Fortnite and learn Force abilities
So here's the tricky part – the Jedi and Sith masters don't have a set location to show up at. Instead, Jedi and Sith will spawn into the map at random locations after the second storm phase has finished in-game. You'll be able to find out exactly where they've spawned as at this point
Icons with a lightsaber logo should appear on the map with green being Obi Wan and Force Push, blue being Anakin Skywalker and Force Pull, and Red is Darth Maul and Force Throw. Approach the Jedi masters and interact with them and you'll be sent through a Rift Gate, and respawn with a lightsaber along with and their respective Force power.
The only problem is that after a Jedi or Sith has been interacted with by one player, they'll respawn elsewhere on the map, so if someone beats you to them you'll have to make your way to their new location.
Luckily, after the second storm phase, the Jedi and Sith will continue to spawn around the map at random so you'll have plenty of chances to meet them. Once you've done this in three matches the mission is complete and 200 Galactic Reputation is yours, good job!
