Thousands of runners take part in Royal Parks Half Marathon - (PA)

The ballot is now open for the Royal Parks Half Marathon, one of the capital’s biggest runs that provides a goal for those who missed out on the London Marathon.

Organisers are expecting entry to the 2025 edition, the 18th time the 13.1 mile run has been held, to be the most in-demand yet, with 16,000 set to take part.
