The job is based in Ainsdale and the successful applicant will "operate under the direction of the Early Years Service Manager to ensure the Council’s statutory responsibilities for promoting standards in Early Years in schools and settings; ensuring effective funding, project management and partnership arrangements, are delivered to the highest standards".
The role includes a lot of responsibilities and the website says that the successful candidate will:
- "Determine the strategic development of special educational needs (SEND) policy across early years provision in Sefton.
- "Be responsible for day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and co-ordination of specific provision to support individual pupils with SEN or a disability.
- "Provide professional guidance to colleagues, working closely with staff, parents and other agencies."
