How to complete the Trial in Forza Horizon 6 Series 3 Week 2

Italian Exotics arrived as the newest Forza Horizon 6 DLC car pack and Festival Playlist in Series 3, with lots of amazing Italian brands and makes and iconic car models. With it, we’re also getting themed Trials.

This week’s Trial is all about the pride of Italy, the most well-known and iconic car manufacturer in the world: Ferrari.

In Series 3 Week 2, the Trial is called Racing Horses. It is worth 10 Festival Playlist points. It’s restricted to the S1-Class 800 PI Ferrari cars, and the reward is the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale.

This is by far the fastest Trial we have gotten across Series 2 and 3, so get ready for lots of bumping and scraping.

What’s funny about the Racing Horses Trial is that it’s giving out the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale as the reward, while the best car to complete said trial is also the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale. It’s coming at the default PI of 768 and has enough room for upgrades to reach incredible top speed and acceleration without compromising handling or braking.

You can buy the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale for 500,000 Credits at the Autoshow if you want the best car for the job. The best upgrade code for 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale is 153 660 325.

The 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia is a decent alternative. You could have gotten it during the Series 2 of Festival Playlist; otherwise, you can buy it at the Autoshow for 355,000 Credits.

Do not use the 2017 Ferrari J50 Preorder Car if you have one: at 800 PI by default, it’s a complete bait car without enough speed or acceleration.

How to win The Trial

This week’s trial is a series of circuit races, 3 laps each. Be extra careful not to fall behind, because Unbeatable Drivatars will drive into the distance and you will simply be unable to catch up to them. It’s better to slam the brakes early and get into a bit of a scuffle than to smash into the wall or miss a checkpoint altogether.

Both the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale and 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia should allow you to have a good start and challenge the leaders by turn one. Be mindful of any 2018 Ferrari Portofinos coming from behind: they have devilish acceleration, but will likely crash or not make the very first corner.

Otherwise, all the traditional rules apply: try not to miss any checkpoints, help out your teammates if you’re losing on points, and try not to ram into your fellow players – it’s incredibly tilting.

The Trial completion checklist

Before starting The Trial, make sure you have:

  • The Gold Wristband
  • An eligible car, ideally the 2013 Ferrari 458 Speciale or 2007 Ferrari 430 Scuderia.
  • The car is tuned to 800 PI.
