A clash of the men’s college basketball titans is on tap for Saturday in Waco, Texas, where the Baylor Bears host the Houston Cougars in a battle of two of the best teams in an ultra-competitive Big 12 heavyweights.
The Bears come into this one ranked No. 11 in both the USA TODAY Sports Coaches and Associated Press polls due in large part to their tidy 19-7 overall record. However, the conference gauntlet has been daunting, as Baylor has an 8-5 mark including its most recent loss at Brigham Young.
The Cougars are second in both respective polls and are flying high with a 23-3 tally overall with all three losses coming against Big 12 foes in 13 tries. Houston has won its last four games and nine of its last 10, continuing its torrid pace this season.
The Baylor Bears will host the Houston Cougars on Saturday, Feb. 24 at noon ET / 11 a.m. CT.
