For the 11th time in the last 12 years, the Los Angeles Dodgers are champions of the National League West.
After defeating the San Diego Padres 7-2 on Thursday, the Dodgers are guaranteed one of the top two spots in the 2024 NL postseason and with it a first-round bye.
The Dodgers and Phillies are still battling to see who will get the top seed in the NL, but one thing is certain, playoff baseball is headed back to LA.

With the Dodgers earning a bye to the National League Division Series, they will host the first, second, and hypothetical fifth and final game of the NLDS.
