March Madness fever is in the air as the Southeastern Conference winds down its men’s college basketball schedule this week. Among the games remaining on the regular-season slate is a battle between the Arkansas Razorbacks and LSU Tigers in Fayetteville.
The Razorbacks have had an immensely disappointing season, sitting at 14-15 overall with a rough 5-11 mark in SEC play. Losers of its last two and three of the past five, Arkansas is simply playing for pride at this point of the 2023-24 schedule.
The Tigers’ campaign has also been a savage disappointment, albeit with much higher expectations, but that does not make their 16-13 overall tally sting any less — and their perfectly mediocre 8-8 mark in conference play so far is nothing to write home about either. Still, they beat Arky earlier this season and also have upsets over the South Carolina Gamecocks and Kentucky Wildcats to their credit.
The Arkansas Razorbacks will host the LSU Tigers on Wednesday, March 6 at 7 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. CT.
