It might seem to early to talk about the C word - with December having only just been and gone.
But early planning for the festive season will certainly benefit families looking to book a trip to Lapland - as packages are already on sale.
The magical holiday is the only place where children can meet Father Christmas and go reindeer sledding, then seek out the Northern Lights at night all in 24 hours, reporter Birmingham Live.
However, it's not an experience that comes cheap, as trips to see Santa in Finland can cost thousands of pounds.
But if you are looking for a holiday for 2022 then the good news is that packages are already available, and getting in early might take the edge off the sum.
Where to go in Lapland
Lapland actually refers to Finland's northernmost region which borders Sweden, Norway and Russia.
Rovaniemi is the most popular holiday destination and the capital of Lapland, and where families flock in hope of meeting Father Christmas.
Situated around four miles south of the Arctic circle and known as the hometown of Santa Claus, Rovaniemi is the best place to go in Lapland for a magical winter holiday.
We have rounded up the best packages and flights to help you along.
