How to attend the UK’s first UFO tour as man offers advice on how to spot aliens

For a long time people have wondered if aliens are real and if strange lights in the sky are not just weird occurrences but actually UFOs. One man, who believes extraterrestrials are out there and has spent years looking into strange happenings, has announced he will be hosting the Uk’s first-ever UFO tour.

Gary Heseltine, who is a former detective, will take the tour through Rendlesham forest in Suffolk in August. Earlier this year, Gary published his book ‘Non-Human The Rendlesham Forest Incidents: 42 years of Denial,’ looking into the unexplained lights seen at the tour site back in 1980.

Talking to the Mirror , he talked about all things UFO and extraterrestrial including what he’d witnessed over the years, Gary explained how once he was out walking with his girlfriend at the time and they noticed a ‘really big blob of light’ before street lights around them cut out.

He said to the Mirror: "I ran out the back door to my semi-detached garden, just in time to see the same object moving silently above me at the end of the garden. I put my hand up like I was in class, straight up, to make a 90 degree point. As soon as it went past my arm the entire area was plunged into darkness."

Gary spoke to the Mirror about the advice he would give to others wanting to get into UFO hunting and tracking unidentified objects flying around in the sky. He said if people want to see ‘strange things’ they should “get serious and set up their own cameras.”

However, those interested in UFO hunting are facing problems that others wouldn't have faced 40 years ago. From video editing to special effects, there are now many ways for people to make content seem real.

"A lot of people put CGI stuff out there, but the basic rule is if it looks too good, it almost is," Gary continued. "We get a lot of that. Some websites have made hundreds of thousands of pounds peddling false information. I class the internet as the Wild West. Gone are the days when people did serious research and read books."

New data showed that the Bristol area had some of the highest numbers of UFO sightings in England in 2022. The latest data shows 14 people called Avon and Somerset Police after allegedly spotting strange occurrences in the night sky.

This ranks our area as seventh in England, behind Greater Manchester where 26 sightings were reported last year. Greater London ranks second with 20 reports, followed by Lancashire and Hampshire with 19 sightings each.

A total of 497 UFO sightings were reported across the United Kingdom in 2022 and in a quarter of them, the UFOs were described by witnesses as “star-like”, while flying saucers were seen in only 6.8 per cent of the cases.
