At least 200 jobs will be created by Jet2's arrival at Liverpool John Lennon Airport.

The airline and holiday provider announced on Tuesday (May 16) that it would begin operating flights from the Speke-based airport in March 2024. It will fly from Liverpool to 20 destinations, including seven which are not currently served by the airport.

In order to facilitate its summer schedule, the airline will be hiring in Liverpool. Additionally, Jet2 believes that its arrival will create more jobs around the airport and in the region.
