The return of UK’s ancient stones as a place of worship

On a grey November afternoon, a group of 19 Cornish residents gathered outside the imposing medieval Church of St. Buryan, its 92-foot granite tower dominating the skyline.

Their destination, however, was not within its ancient walls, but a 3.2-mile hike away to the enigmatic Boscawen-Ûn stone circle.
