Celtic suffered another tough night as they lost 3-1 to Hungarians Ferencvaros at Parkhead in the Europa League.
It's another big game lost by Martin O'Neill's side after crashing out of the Champions League at the hands of LASK and the Premier Sports Cup to Rangers.
Celtic were poor defensively as they went behind to a Liam Scales own goal. Mika Baur thought his equaliser would make it level at half time, but Kristoffer Zachariassen stunned the home side. Former Celt Daniel Arzani scored with a wonderful strike to make it 3-1 in the second half.

Viljami Sinisalo - 5
The Finnish goalkeeper was back in for Sam Johnstone, which brought a spiky response from Martin O’Neill pre-match. Sinisalo was badly exposed by what was going on in front of him. Could do little about it when Scales diverted into his own net, when Zachariassen scored from close range or when Arzani sent an absolute beauty into the top corner.

Colby Donovan - 5
The young right-back was not nearly as influential as the last European night at Parkhead, the 3-0 win over LASK. Then caught very high up the pitch as Daniel Arzani scored Ferencvaros’ third. Didn’t offer a threat on the right hand side as he usually does and not a brilliant night defensively either. Came off for Anthony Ralston for the final ten minutes.
Cameron Carter-Vickers - 4
Has so often been a rock and someone Celtic can rely upon on nights like this. However, he seemed a little bit off it and was giving defenders too much time and space. Both Carter-Vickers and Scales were close to Kristoffer Zachariassen as he scored the second, but allowed him to get in between them to score. Unable to get close enough to Arzani to stop the former Celtic man from arrowing a strike into the top corner.
Liam Scales - 4
It could be argued that the Irishman was unlucky to divert Bamidele Yusuf’s strike into the bottom corner, but it did seem as if he could have reacted better and shifted his feet to avoid doing so. As mentioned, equally as culpable with Carter-Vickers for the second. Really does not look like he is playing with confidence at the minute.
Kieran Tierney - 5
Brilliant play to set up Celtic’s equaliser - great endeavour to bomb down the left and then quality to pick out Baur in the box. Defensively struggled to cope with the threat of Yusuf and a lot of balls were coming into the box from that side, and that includes being turned inside out for the all important second goal.
Callum McGregor - 5
Tried to be the dictator at the base of midfield, but that’s difficult to do when there is not a lot of movement in front or around you. The captain didn’t cover himself in glory defensively, and allied Yusuf to poke it through his legs to find Zachariassen after being slow to react in the build-up.
Mika Baur - 6
Hadn’t been offering much defensively or going forward for most of the first half, especially the former as the visitors were allowed to counter easily. But then popped up with a big moment - a little bit of moment to find space and allow Tierney to pick him out, before guiding a controlled finish on target.
Oliver Sorensen - 3
Handed his second start for the club after midfield issues arose at the weekend, but lasted just 45 minutes. Passive off the ball, missing tackles and letting players run off him. And offered precious little on the ball, either.
Haissen Hassan - 5
Like Forrest on the other side, Hassan was able to get past his full-back a few times early on and get balls into the box. However, those balls into the box were poor. Doesn’t look as prepared to run back the way as he does forward, something his captain highlighted about the team as a whole at the weekend. The Egyptian’s involvement waned as the game went on and was barely seen in the second half before going off for Benjamin Nygren.
James Forrest - 6
Brought into the side and was very lively early on, using skill and drive to get past the full-back a number of times. While the end product was largely not there, Forrest did set up Duran for a half chance. Had a big involvement in Baur’s goal, showing positive intent before sending Tierney scampering into the box. The 35-year-old was never likely to last the full game, and was replaced by Sebastian Tounekti after 57 minutes.
Camilo Duran - 5
Back up front but barely involved and not a lot of movement from the centre. When he did get on the ball he took the wrong options at times, hitting one from 30 yards and wide of the box when there were options around him. Duran had fewer than 10 touches in the first half. Improved slightly after the break, linked play a bit more and forced a chance for Nygren with his pressing.
Substitutes
Kasper Hogh - 3
On to try and give the team more impetus in attack but didn’t really do that. Struggled to hold the ball in, made loose passes and committed fouls.
Benjamin Nygren - 4
Definitely made Celtic more of a threat but missed a big chance with the goal gaping after a mistake in the visiting defence.
Sebastien Tounekti - 5
Looked far more positive than in recent outings after coming on - tried to pass forward or beat his man instead of going backward. Forced Varga into a save.
Luke McCowan - 4
Not massively involved but did look neat and tidy on the ball a couple of times.
Anthony Ralston - N/A
