Real Sociedad star Yangel Herrera insisted he knew his former teammate, Rangers winger Kim Min-su, was destined for big things as soon as he saw him.
Kim is currently on international duty for South Korea and earned his first caps in their friendlies against Ecuador and Uruguay.
The 20-year-old will come up against Ibrox teammate Kevin Kelsy next when they face Venezuela, along with former colleague Herrera.
Kim and Herrera played together at Girona before the South American moved to Real Sociedad and Kim earned a transfer to Rangers.
And Herrera revealed he has always been impressed with the Ibrox new boy.

He said: "Everyone in the club knew that Kim Min-su was an incredibly talented and outstanding player from a young age at Girona.
"I worked with him there.
"He has now transferred to Rangers.
"I hope he continues to develop his abilities and becomes an even better player and I am looking forward to meeting him again."
