A royal expert says Prince Harry tried to get the plug pulled on The Crown - and claims the Royal Family 'all' watch the hit show.
Meghan Markle and Harry signed a multimillion-pound deal with Netflix in September 2020, who now want their 'pint of blood' from the Sussexes.
But the Duke reportedly never wants his exit from the royal family to make it to TV and tried to ensure he would never be featured.
Biographer Angela Levin recalled her conversation with the Prince two years ago - and says he grilled her about the show.
But his mission fell flat after she claims he told her "they must drop" the popular drama.
Will Powell has been cast as a young Prince Harry in the programme and there are no signs that Megxit will be off the agenda in the future.
"When I met Harry at Kensington Palace the first question he asked me was, 'Are you watching The Crown?" she said.
"I mumbled and said, 'are you and the rest of the Royal Family?'
"He said, 'yes, we're all absolutely watching everything but I'm going to insist it stops before it reaches me'.
"And he's now actually doing what I think is so disloyal and rude and that is taking money from a company like Netflix that knows exactly that it's going to get its pint of blood out of somebody when it offers a lot of money.
"When he knows the same company is ridiculing his father, his mother and his grandmother," she said, speaking to TalkRadio.
Talking to Good Morning Britain also earlier this year, the monarchy expert said that Netflix would "delve in and get a lot of information that will absolutely decry the Royal Family".
She added: "I think the Royal Family does a lot of for us. Of course they’ve got a lot of faults, haven’t we all.
"I think the way that he (Harry) has left the Royal Family, the way he did it, and he’s changed - he’s almost unrecognisable from Prince Harry I spent a lot of time with.
"But I think, you know, Meghan is desperate to earn lots of money and Netflix offered them something.
"I think they’re being naive as they have been about lots of things in that they don’t realise that a big company like Netflix is going to want its pint of blood."
