How parents can spot signs of sexual abuse in children as online grooming rises

Parents are being urged to keep an eye out for signs of sexual abuse in their children.

It comes after figures showed a rise in online grooming and safety experts found that sex predators were targeting younger children, with a sharp rise in content showing the abuse of youngsters aged between seven and 10.

The Internet Watch Foundation (IWF) has said 2021 was the worst year on record for child sexual abuse online.
