Actress Minnie Driver is recovering after a serious car accident in France that left her with a sprained neck. The 56-year-old actor said she and her friend, actor Ben Homewood, were involved in the crash several days before she shared an update about the incident, describing it as a "really bad car accident."
Driver said the pair were traveling on a country road in central France when another vehicle failed to stop at an intersection and struck their car. She said they were able to get out of the wreck but had to crawl out. In a video update, Driver said she was "so grateful to be alive" and described herself as recovering from a sprained neck while still feeling emotionally shaken by what happened.
