West Ham United have already pocketed just shy of £3million already this season via the Europa Conference League.
The Hammers booked their place in the group stage of the competition last month with a 6-1 aggregate victory over Danish side Viborg, ensuring their passage into the group stages of a European competition for a second straight season. That two-legged win over Viborg secured a place in the group stages and in doing so, West Ham were awarded €2,940,000 (£2.54m), as per UEFA.
On top of that, West Ham also picked up €500,000 (£432,966.03) for their opening group stage match win over FCSB last Thursday, taking their total earnings so far to €3,440,000 (£2.98m). That total is, however, likely to grow significantly in the coming months.

For every group stage match West Ham win, they will earn an additional €500,000 (£432,966.03), while a draw in the group stage is worth €166,000 (£143,744.72). Should West Ham win all five of their remaining Group B matches, they could pocket an additional €2.5m (£2.16m).
For winning the group, West Ham would pick up €650,000 (£562,855.84), while a second place finish would pocket the Hammers €325,000 (£281,427.92). Moyes’ side would pick up an additional €300,000 (£259,779.62) if they won their knockout round play-off game, although winning Group B would put them straight into the Round of 16.
Reaching the last 16 would give the Irons €600,000 (£519,559.24) while going one step further and reaching the quarter-finals would earn the Hammers €1,000,000 (£865,932.07). The semi-finals become potentially even more profitable for the Hammers, reaching the last four would earn them €2,000,000 (£1.73m), and a place in the final guarantees an extra €3,000,000 (£2.6m).
The final alone is worth up to €5,000,000 (£4.33m), with the winner taking that and the loser taking €3,000,000 (£2.6m) for reaching the last two. If West Ham were to win every game between now and including the final, they would pocket a total of €15,190,000 (£13.15m), a fee definitely making the competition worthwhile, even if it is UEFA’s third tier club competition.
