How much prize money does the winner of The Traitors receive?

Harry Clark, the winner of The Traitors, has vowed to give Mollie Pearce, the runner-up, a portion of his winnings.

In Friday's thrilling finale, the 23-year-old army engineer won the entire prize money. The model, who had suspected he was lying to her from the beginning, was devastated.

In a stressful finale, Mollie came dangerously close to voting Harry off the show, but she couldn't bring herself to betray her friend and banished Jaz instead.

She thus had to leave the castle empty-handed, but happily Harry has since reached out in a conversation shortly after the past season's filming concluded.

She declared over the weekend on BBC Breakfast, "He promised me a holiday, and I’m pretty happy with that.

"It was a game and, at the end of the day, we all sign up for it. You go in with the chance of getting hurt, so it’s all good vibes here."

Speaking to the Standard, Harry said: “Being in the army helped me because you work in high, high pressure environments and stuff like that.

“You can disassociate emotions with just getting the job done, for example. So you don't get too emotionally attached.”

But how much does The Traitors winner get to take home?

How much does The Traitors winner receive?

The maximum prizes from The Traitors in the UK is £120,000. This year's winner Harry took home £95,000.

Daily tasks throughout the game allow players to accumulate money and increase the total prize pool.

In terms of the contestants, they are not paid an appearance fee for being on the show but are given a daily allowance.

Even though some competitors are eliminated quickly, taking a significant amount of time off work is required of those who advance to the finals. The purpose of the allowance is to offset any lost income.

Therefore, the allowance of the candidates who are eliminated or killed early in the competition will be much lower than that of their colleagues.

Aaron Evans, the winner of season one, revealed: "They don't technically pay you, they subsidise what you would have got for work with the show, it's roughly like £100 a day. It's not that much... but it's definitely worth it."

The BBC is now looking for its next group of contestants to join the 2025 series. Apply through Studio Lambert via their application form.
