There were more important things than money at stake today, but Leeds United pocketed just a fifth of what Manchester City earned for their Premier League position.
Leeds United won 2-1 against Brentford, thanks to two goals from Raphinha and Jack Harrison. The result saved Leeds from relegation, while Burnley went down to the Championship with Watford and Norwich.
The result also meant that Leeds finished in 17th place in the table, bagging £8.8m. For comparison, Manchester City, who were crowned champions after a spectacular 3-2 comeback against Aston Villa, pocketed £44m.
