Ahead of the final round of the RBC Canadian Open, there was a tight leaderboard, with Jackson Suber out in front at TPC Toronto.
Plenty of players remained in contention deep into the final round, before Bud Cauley seized the initiative, enjoying a four-shot lead on the back nine for a time.
In the end, Cauley claimed the title by two for his maiden win on the PGA Tour.
There's huge prestige in winning one of the oldest tournaments on the PGA Tour, as well as following a long line of famous winners such as Tiger Woods, Lee Trevino and Arnold Palmer.
They are far from the only perks, with a two-year PGA Tour exemption, around 47 world ranking points and 500 FedEx Cup points also among the big advantages coming Cauley's way.
Cauley, as well as Suber and Jesper Svensson, also earn places at The Open because of their finishes at the tournament.
Another perk is significant prize money. An overall purse of $9.8m was available at the event, with Cauley claiming $1.764m of it.
However, that isn't the figure he will end up seeing, as several factors determine how much money pro golfers really earn once all is said and done.
The player Cauley held off was Matt Fitzpatrick, but his near miss will be cushioned by prize money of more than $1m.
Below is what each player who made the cut won at the RBC Canadian Open.
