Porto have already claimed that they have agreed a deal with Arsenal to sell midfielder Fabio Vieira this summer in an official statement. The Portuguese side claim the initial fee paid by the Gunners will be roughly £30million, with £5million in add-ons.
The 22-year-old could be one of the first signings of the window for Mikel Arteta as he looks to bolster his squad. The Spaniard guided his side to fifth last season, narrowly missing out on a return to the Champions League.
Arteta is tasked with improving his options in making another push for the top four. On the summer transfer market, he said: "We are going to have certain resources, not unlimited resources, some resources.

"And with our resources we have to play and do what we have to do in the best possible way. We don't know what the rest are going to have in terms of resources, which I'm assuming is going to be challenging because now it's not a top three or top four league. Now it is a top eight or 10 teams that are involved. That's why we have to find a way to do again what we did last summer."
Vieira appears to be one of the potential options that the manager is looking at to improve his squad depth. The 22-year-old made 27 league appearances last season, scoring six and assisting 14 goals in that time.
However, according to A Bola, the deal includes a hefty agent fee for Vieira’s representative Jorge Mendes. The report claims that he will be owed 10% of the deal, which is roughly £3.4million.
It remains to be seen exactly how much the Gunners will have to pay to agents for all of their summer deals, however it could end up being a large sum.
