It's finally here. The Manchester Christmas Markets are back and as ever the sausages are sizzling, the wine is mulling and the city is ready to get into the festive spirit. Visitors can expect all the familiar sights and sounds of the markets, which run from today (November 10), until Thursday, December 22.
Of course, the markets wouldn't be what they are without the vast array of food and drinks options. There's a wealth of choice across all seven areas of the Manchester Christmas Markets, from gluhwein and bratwurst to pints and strudel, as well as some of Manchester's favourite food and drink businesses.
Lucky for you, we've travelled across the city, from Piccadilly Gardens to King Street - and back - to find all the prices you can expect to pay for your sausage, gluhwein and beer, plus whatever else you may fancy. And don't forget to factor in the £3 Christmas mug deposit scheme when you purchase your hot drinks around the markets - this is refundable with the return of the mug, though you might want to keep it as a nice memento of the trip.
