Swifties are finding out just how hard it is going to be to get tickets to see the superstar in action as the sales for Taylor Swift’s Eras tour began.
Thousands of die-hard fans managed to rush to get their hands on pre-sale tickets last week, but the general sale madness begins today (Monday July 17.)
While the registration period for The Eras tour tickets has unfortunately now ended, from today (Monday, July 17), Swifties who registered for access to the general sale will be in with a chance to buy tickets.
Not everyone who registered was successful, though — a “limited number” got a code, while everyone else was placed on a waitlist.
Where is Taylor Swift playing on her Eras tour?
Swift is well into her stride on the tour and is set to play 115 concerts. She began in March of this year and will finish next August.
Here’s a full list of her UK venues and 2024 dates:

Taylor started the US dates of her tour in March. Forbes estimated it would pull in $1.9 billion (£1.5 billion) in ticket sales and merchandise.
How many Taylor Swift tickets can you buy?
Because of super popular demand, there is a limited amount you can buy if you do make it through the queues and to the checkout.
If you manage to beat the madness and get through to selecting seats and tickets, you will only be allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets.
This limit has been put in place to give as many fans a chance at going as possible, and trying to stop ticket touts from buying loads only to then sell them on at extortionate prices.
Groups of more than four will need to have multiple people purchasing tickets – though demand is, of course, atronomically high to see the Enchanted singer so those in charge of buying tickets will have to have their eyes on the prize and operate fast.
How can I get tickets?
The general sale is for registered fans only, which means that only those with an access code will be able to purchase tickets in the sale for their selected city.
Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis while currently available inventory lasts.
Ticketmaster has sternly pointed out that registration does not guarantee access to the sale, due to demand.
“A limited number of fans will get access to the sale, and others will be put on the waitlist,” the website says.
“Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you aren’t initially selected, you’ll be placed on the waitlist and may receive an invitation if any further tickets become available.”
When will you receive an access code?
If you are one of the lucky people set to receive an access code, you will have already received an email. This will include the information you need to know such as what time the sale will begin.
AEG said everybody who registered will have received an email from either Ticketmaster or AXS confirming their selected/waitlist status by 11.59pm on Friday (July 14).
